    HILLSBORO, OR, SEPTEMBER 14, 2011 – MyBinding.com, one of the nation’s leading Internet retailers of document finishing equipment and supplies, is a sponsor of the annual American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Regional Conference. This is the second year in a row that the company has sponsored the event which is hosted by ASTD-Cascadia, the regional branch. The conference takes place on October 11 and 12, 2011 at the Salem Conference Center in Salem, Oregon.

     

    “We’re extremely proud to be sponsoring the ASTD-Cascadia Regional Conference for the second time,” said Jeff McRitchie, Vice-President of Marketing for MyBinding.com. “It’s a great way for us to get our name out to people who use a lot of document finishing products and supplies such as binding machines.”

     

    The ASTD-Cascadia Regional Conference is a conference attended by workplace learning professionals including human resources directors, consultants, and trainers. Pamela Moore, a member of the ASTD-Cascadia and a Senior Professional in Human Resources for MyBinding.com, said she was happy about the company’s sponsorship.

     

    “I’m thrilled that MyBinding.com is sponsoring this event,” Moore said. “It’s a great conference and it gives the company terrific exposure to document-oriented professionals who have a lot of use for what MyBinding.com sells.”

     

    The ASTD-Cascadia Conference has also been sponsored by other Oregon businesses and schools such as Turning Technologies and Portland State University. Past conference attendees have included employees from Con-way Enterprise Services, Columbia Sportswear, and TriQuint Semiconductor. McRitchie is happy that MyBinding.com is included in such a diverse group of companies.
