VP of Marketing Jeff McRitchie teams up with TriMega to present a small business online marketing webinar
HILLSBORO, OR (May 24, 2012) – Jeff McRitchie, vice president of marketing at MyBinding.com, is presenting a webinar for TriMega Purchasing Association, an online collaboration of office product dealers. The “TriWebinar,” as webinars from TriMega are called, will offer tips for local businesses on how to grow using the internet.
“I’m really excited to have this opportunity to do a webinar,” said McRitchie. “I’ve learned a number of tips and techniques over the years and love to share knowledge with other companies.”
TriMega offers free webinars to their members on various topics throughout the year. This webinar, titled “Grow Your Local Business through the Internet,” offers quick, easy, and cheap ways to reach local customers online. McRitchie’s tips help ensure that both current and potential clientele can find local businesses. Also, he will show viewers how to set up and optimize entries on Google Places, Yahoo Local, Bing Business Portal, and more–all of which are free. Other offerings include a list of local business directories and how to get in, how to get directory listings to rank in search engines, and simple strategies for advertising your business with Google Adwords to gain new customers.
“Several of these free strategies are so simple yet very effective,” McRitchie stated. “Many local businesses in any area could highly benefit from the knowledge delivered in this webinar.”
McRitchie started the MyBinding.com website from scratch nearly ten years ago and has helped it expand into one of the fastest growing private companies in the US. He is an expert at finding ways to creatively advertise and specializes in Internet marketing and SEO. McRitchie has donated his time to help a number of small, local businesses and had the opportunity to be a panel speaker at the eTail Boston conference for online retailers in 2011.
TriMega webinars are one of the benefits of membership. The dealer-driven association formed to aid mid-sized businesses in producing and distributing quality marketing materials and negotiate purchasing power by banding together. They host regional and national events designed to maximize information sharing and networking. TriMega also provides education at industry activities. Their roster includes over 600 members in a variety of segments with representatives in almost every state. MyBinding.com has been a TriMega member for several years and attended a few of their events. McRitchie is looking forward to partnering even more in the future for other webinars.
“Small business Internet marketing is only a sliver of what I do and what I’ve learned over the years as VP of Marketing,” said McRitchie. “I’m looking forward to offering more helpful webinars in the future on a variety of topics.”
