MyBinding.com recently began offering the Akiles CoilMac ECP Series Binding Machines

The ECP is a powerful electric punch that can handle up to 25 sheets of 20lb paper at once. It is available in two different models, a regular and a plus version. Both offer a side margin control knob, punching margin control, and an open-throat design to handle virtually any length document. The regular ECP punches round holes in a 4:1 pitch pattern and has five disengageable die pins for clean punching of standard paper sizes. The ECP+ has the added benefits of punching oval holes for easier coil insertion and fully disengageable die pins for punching any size paper, standard or custom.

“The ECP is a great addition to a Finish@Coil or other inserter,” said McRitchie. “When used in conjunction with a standalone inserter, the ECP can increase your production speeds when working with higher volumes of documents.”

Akiles offers a full line of coil binding systems in their CoilMac line to meet a wide range of customer needs. Each of the five models are available in both regular and plus version. The CoilMac EPI is most similar to the ECP only offers both punching and inserting. However, the ECP can be used with an inserter for simultaneous punching and binding, resulting in higher efficiency.
