Earlier this year we wrote a post showing our support of the Hillsboro Girls Softball Association (HGSA). We sponsor a total of five teams, one from each section – U8 (K-2), U10 (3-4), U12 (5-6), U14 (7-8), and U18 (9-12). The two youngest teams, U8 and U10, finished up a great season culminating in a jamboree tournament meant for fun rather than competition. The three older teams have an actual tournament, with beginning games this week.

Not only does MyBinding.com sponsor the teams, our warehouse manager Michael Agostini coaches the U12 team, which includes one of his daughters. Agostini also helps as an assistant coach for the MyBinding U14 team, played by Agostini’s oldest daughter. While no team enters the tournament with any standing, this year it looks good for the U14 team to place in the tournament. U18, reserved for high school students, only has four teams in the league.

For all three older brackets, the tournament games begin Wednesday and continue through Saturday, ending in an exciting day of games, festivities, sportsmanship awards, and trophies. MyBinding.com would like to wish all teams a great day.
