MyBinding,com, a division of Information Management Services, LCC, announces the promotion of Shawn Slotkin from Account Executive to Inside Sales Supervisor
HILLSBORO, OR, February 3, 2011 – MyBinding.com, one of the country’s leading online retailers of document finishing equipment and supplies, recently announced that one of their account executives, Shawn Slotkin, has been promoted. Slotkin is now serving as Inside Sales Supervisor. His promotion was announced in a company e-mail on Friday, January 28, 2011.
“I’m excited,” said Slotkin. “I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for quite a while.”
Slotkin has been with MyBinding.com for almost three years and originally started out as a customer service representative. He was later promoted to his previous position as an Account Executive, so the company has promoted him twice. As an Account Executive, he exceeded his monthly $100,000.00 sales quota nine times in 2010. Shawn has been instrumental in helping MyBinding to land several large national accounts and is regularly involved in larger projects and opportunities.
“Shawn has been a valuable part of our team since he began working for us in 2008,” said Cory Ware, co-owner of MyBinding.com. “He has always shown a strong willingness to learn, grow, and lead. We’re incredibly proud of him.”
Due to his promotion, Slotkin now faces new tasks. He is still active in sales and he is also working with the customer service team to handle escalated calls. Slotkin supervises a team of seven people including customer service representatives and inside sales representatives. In addition, Shawn supports the efforts of MyBinding.com’s outside sales representatives in achieving their sales goals. Overall, he is ecstatic about the opportunities that his new position has to offer.
